Alyssa is so excited to start off her senior year writing for the Dakota Planet. As a first-time staff writer, she hopes her experiences writing for the newspaper will help strengthen her writing skills, as well as provide her with an outlet to pour her creativity into. When not spending time completing schoolwork and other school related activities, she spends her time dancing with her competitive dance team, playing piano, and diving into a good book. Alyssa also has a passion for animals, and therefore cannot talk about herself without mentioning her amazing dog, Ginger.
