5 Helpful Study Sites
There are many resources out there for students to use during study sessions. Here are five of them to look into:
1. Quizlet
Quizlet is perhaps the most infamous study site out there. Users can make their own sets of information to study, or search for a specific topic and come across sets that others have already created. There are multiple modes available including flashcards, matching, and fill in the blanks. However, as of late, a fee is now required to have access to some features.

2. Duolingo
Duolingo is an app/website used for learning and strengthening language skills. There are 39 languages available on the app to learn, both real and fictional. Practice includes writing, multiple choice, listening, and speaking activities. There are also little “stories” to read to help build upon reading abilities.

3. Khan Academy
Khan Academy has a variety of tools available for all grade levels. Even more diverse are their course offerings-including math, language arts, history, and science. Practice for specific Advanced Placement (AP) classes can be found as well. For a breakdown of a specific concept, Khan Academy has videos and readings describing the searched topic. Additionally, practice questions are also implemented, typically in the form of multiple choice or typed responses.

4. StudyStack
This website is a database of flashcard sets that users can either create themselves or use pre-existing ones. By searching the desired topic, a list of all related existing sets will pop up and can then be selected to study. Each time a flashcard is used, there will be an option for “don’t know” and “know” to help keep track of what still needs to be learned.

5. Kahoot
Typically used in a classroom setting, Kahoot is a game with the purpose of reviewing learned material. Students can also create their own games using a Kahoot account. They can then use these to study on their own time and invite their friends to join in.
