Dakota Club Spotlight: Animal Welfare Workers
The Animal Welfare Workers (AWW) is just one of the many clubs that Dakota has to offer. Its mission: coming together as fellow students to help animals. Typically, the club meets once a month after school on Wednesdays in Mr. Tocco’s room (room 203). Other events that the club hosts could take place on other days and times depending on what the event entails. Most of the activities AWW plans, have a focus on donating to local animal shelters. This includes blanket making for shelter animals, bake sales to generate money for shelter Amazon wish lists, and the highly successful shelter drive that took place earlier this year. The club is open to all grades, with the only requirement being a love for animals. More information about the club can be found on the website link below.
