Jimmy Butler, a NBA all-star, got traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Philadelphia 76ers. In Butler’s debut with the 76ers, he dropped 14 points in a loss. After the game, “Obviously we didn’t win,” said Butler, who had 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists in 33 minutes. “Not the outcome we wanted to have. “But we’ve got a lot more of these things. I think we’ll all be better, myself included. We’ve got another [game] on Friday.”

Eight days after Jimmy Butler hit a game winning shot with the 76ers, he hit another game winner to beat the Brooklyn Nets 127-125. “Big-time player got to his spot and hit a big-time shot,” Joel Embiid, who jumped on Butler in celebration following the winner, said after scoring 32 points against Brooklyn. Jimmy “Buckets” Butler is making a very good impact with the 76ers as he joins the big three of Philadelphia basketball.
