On Saturday, January 6th, the Dakota Cougars attended an tournament called the Bakers Dozen. The Bakers Dozen consists of thirteen bakers before the first cuts. A baker is classified as five bowlers bowling one game; the person bowling the first frame will also bowl the sixth frame, the person bowling the second frame will also bowl the seventh frame, and so on.

The Cougars did an amazing job in this tournament! After they announced the cuts, all of our five teams advanced! The girls varsity were not lucky and they lost to a close score, 2-3. They bowled an amazing 213,200, and a 150, but it was not enough to beat their competition Clarkston. The joys JV b team lost first round with fantastic scores of 124, 188, and 147.

Boys Varsity, girls JV, and the boys JV a all placed third. The boys Varsity bowled an awesome game of 223,182, and 185. The girls JV a bowled great games of 170, 126, and 157. The boys JV a bowled amazing games of 180, 143, and 141! Keep it up Cougars!
