Update from Zachary Veal: Tracking Both A Frosty Start & A Rainy Thursday!

THIS MORNING: Mostly sunny skies and quite cool too this Monday morning around Metro Detroit along with both morning temperatures only in the low 50s and light winds NNE at only 5-10 mph. And finally, our Frost Advisory for most of Metro Detroit not including both Monroe and Wayne Counties expired at 9am due to areas both north and west of Downtown waking up to morning temperatures in the 30s which are capable of killing sensitive plants that both you and your family may not have brought indoors, so there’s that if you were not aware!

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the low 60s and light winds ENE at only 5-10 mph which means that both east-siders and our Thumb area will be slightly cooler as those winds will be blowing off of both Lakes Huron and St. Clair.

TOMORROW: A mostly clear and cool start once again to your Tuesday around Metro Detroit as we will both get up and get going for both work, for the parents, and for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures only in the low 40s in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but most likely in the upper 30s outside of the Urban Heat Island in our typically cooler rural areas as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say. But the afternoon hours should warm up under mostly sunny skies once again along with both a daytime high temperature of 70F and light winds NE/NW at only 5-10 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and a bit warmer than Tuesday too around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 70s.

THURSDAY: Partly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures dropping down into the low 70s.

FRIDAY: After some overnight scattered showers from Thursday night into early Friday morning, we should dry things out under partly cloudy skies once again along with a daytime high temperature of only double-nickels (or 55F) as we wrap up both this work and this school week.

THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny skies both on your Saturday and on your Sunday along with daytime high temperatures only in the middle-to-upper 50s on your Saturday, but then, rising into the low 60s on your Sunday as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.

Enjoy the rest of your Monday, Metro Detroit, and have a wonderful week ahead too!!
