It was announced on March 28, 2022 by the National Football League that the 2024 NFL Draft is set to be held in the Motor City.

The expected location is by Campus Martius Park and Hart Plaza.

In other exciting news for Detroit, The Detroit Lions were also announced as being the featured team of the docuseries, Hard Knocks, which was shot during the 2022 training camp.
