Lacrosse at the Next Level

Since the last lacrosse season ended the Dakota lacrosse team have been working out and joining new tournament teams to get in work before next year tryouts. Now not the whole team joined a new lacrosse team.  Only 10  guys out of the 42 guys from Jv and Varsity joined the tournament teams that go to Dakota.  Eric Old, Alec DeMaria, Jack Winarski , Robbie Dameron, Bryce Wawrzyniak, Robert Fitch, Nathan Paprocki, Nick Tiseo, Seth Miller, and Rodrigo Solorzano. Our team name is the Storm since its not during the Dakota lacrosse season so we cant be the cougars.  We have been practicing really hard and we are getting really good we have a solid defense and solid offense.

Our goalie Bryce is a great goalie. According to Alec DeMaria he believes ” We’ll do well because we’ve all had experience with lacrosse before and we all know each other so we will get along really well. Our team name is the Storm. We practice Monday and Saturdays. Mondays 5:30-7:30 and then Saturdays 9:00-11:00. The  tournaments that we are participating in are the Donneybrook on the 9th of October and the  Boo Bash October 29th. We practice in all the weather no days off we are either working out or practicing.  We love the coaches.

One coach is Coach Benoit and Coach Dameron. They are really good coaches and they help us improve very much. Now According to Eric Old he thinks the team will be better. “Much improved from last year and I believe that we will score many points” said Eric. The Jv and Varsity lacrosse teams last year did not average many points game but this year  the Storm will average many more points we have developed and are running a new offense. We are running a 2-2-2 offense. Wish the Storm luck at the tournaments they are playing in.
