The Final 4

The NFL has nearly reached its season’s climax as 2 more games are to be played for the Super Bowl matchup to be decided. This season has required a lot of sacrifice through its players and staff and it’s great to coming to a close in a safe way. With that being said, the final four remaining contenders are the Bills, Packers, Chiefs, and Buccaneers.

Starting off in the AFC, The Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs will be facing off with two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL: Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes. The Bills have won their first playoff game since 1995 and hope to make it to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994 and hopefully win their first one out of what would be their 5th attempt. For the Chiefs, they are coming off a Super Bowl win just this last year. After dominating in the regular season, they were rewarded the one seed and had to go against the Cleveland Browns in the divisional round. In the 3rd Quarter, Patrick Mahomes went down with a concussion and the tide seemed to be turning to the Browns. Instead, Chad Henne, Mahome’s backup, played well enough to secure their win. This matchup will be decided on January 24th.

In the NFC, two future Hall of Famers and both who are considered to be the best quarterback of all time by many will face off in what could be their final opportunity in their careers. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have been around the playoffs almost every year and in his 16th season, Rodgers is putting up his best numbers ever. The Lions know all about the dangers of the Packers offense and they look to stop the Buccaneers who gave Rodgers 2 of his 5 interceptions in their one game in the regular season.  For Tom Brady, the championship game is nothing new as it is his 16th in his career. The only difference is its his first NFC championship game and first with a different team. Although Brady has the experience, the Bucs as a whole do not and it will be up to them to show up in the big moment. The two greats will go at it on the 24th as well.
