Olivia Lambert is a junior at Dakota High School. She is known for her academic achievements and dedication to her school. With a score of 1580 on her SAT, she has earned the highest score on the test at Dakota. When asked how she did so, she explained that she used “Khan Academy, using online practice tests to study.” She was humble in her answer, as she worked tirelessly every day, every year. Her score was a big boom that resulted from her years of quiet focus and determination. She believes her road to success was a smooth one, with the exception of her strep throat illness the day of the exam. Despite this struggle, she used the strength she had worked so hard for to push through to a nearly perfect score. It can be assumed that Olivia feels empowered, relieved, and excited for her future. She wants the Dakota Planet and the community to know that “you should always work hard for what you want and never let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. You can do whatever you set your mind to.” These words of wisdom are a reflection of her years of hard work on good and bad days that have brought her to her glory. People get out of high school what they put into it, and Olivia Lambert is going to get a bright future and a successful life out of her tireless effort in grade school.
