Coach of the Year: DHS’s Paul Price
Dakota Girl’s Varsity Bowling coach Paul Price has won Coach of the Year!
Paul Price has been a coach for Dakota Bowling since 2012, but has just begun coaching the girl’s varsity team this year. When asked how he thinks he earned the title, he paid homage to his team and said, “Being blessed with an amazing group of young, talented ladies with heart, grit, and determination.”
We also asked Coach Price how his experience has been with DHS Bowling. While reflecting, he said, “This season was my fondest of all of my years with Dakota because this team was so special.” He also said, “My experience with DHS has been amazing. I landed in the right place and I’m very thankful for that.”
At the end of the interview, Coach Price was asked if he has any words of wisdom for the DHS bowlers. He said, “If we stay on the same track and keep working as hard as we have in the past, we will always be a contender, but more importantly, we need to buy into the team concept. This team’s success was in large part a product of the ladies’ mindset. We are not just a team, we are a family!”
Congratulations Coach Paul! You definitely deserve Coach of the Year!
