2018 NBA All-Star Game
The 67th annual NBA All-Star game is coming up on February 18th.
Every year, the NBA All-Star game is one of the most highly anticipated of the major sports. Although the hype around the 2018 All-Star game is through the roof, this game has a very diverse audiene. For the first time in NBA History, the All-Star teams will be based on a draft. The draft will have two captains who will each pick their own starters and reserves simultaneously out of a pool of other All-Stars. The two captains are the former MVPs, Lebron James and Stephen Curry. The picks will be made no matter the team nor division of the player chosen. Lebron James has the first pick in the draft, while Stephen Curry gets to pick jersey color. Some players from the Eastern Conference include James’ former teammate Kyrie Irving, Giannas Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid, and Demar Derozan and more. While from the Western Conference, there is Curry’s current teammate Kevin Durant, James Harden, Anthony Davis, Demarcus Cousins, etc.
Be sure to watch the 2018 NBA All-Star Game, as it will be one to remember and the first of its kind (when it comes to picking teams.)
