Broadway Legends at the Orchestra Hall

Stephen Sondheim, Leonard Berstein, Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein- all extremely famous composers and creators of musicals. Each one of them with a unique and distinctive style, but an overall similar tone. Although all of these composers have passed on, their music is still played today! 

If you’re a fan of those grand composers, or just into musicals in general, then the show Broadway Legends may be interesting to you! It’s a two-hour long orchestra and vocal performance- with the performers doing songs written by the composers listed above!  

This performance will be conducted by a man named Andy Einhorn. He is a Broadway conductor and director and has led many orchestras; these include the Indianapolis Symphony, Houston Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Tuscon Symphony, and the Fresno Philharmonic orchestra.  He is a man with a lot of experience, and he’s brought it with him to Detroit for these performances of Broadway Legends. 

The lead vocalists for this performance are Andrea Ross and Jim Hogan. Ross is an award-winning actress and Hogan is currently making his Broadway debut in a new musical called Kimberly Akimbo and has appeared with his singing group on America’s Got Talent. This production is full of talented and acclaimed people!  

The dates of this show are Friday, March 10th-Sunday March 12th, and the show will be performed at the 1919 concert hall the Orchestra Hall, located about forty minutes from our school! More information and a spot to be tickets can be found on the website HERE.
