22-23′ Detroit Red Wings
The Red Wings this year are not looking to bad they are currently 2-1 following a loss to the L.A Kings. Opening night they played the Montreal Canadians, Elmer Söderblom Red Wings rookie netted his first goal of his career that night which was also the first goal of the game. Michael Rasmussen, and Oli Maatta also scored their first goals of the season. In the second game of the season the Red Wings rolled over the devils with a 5-2 win. Dylan Larkin, Ben Chiarot, Jakob Vrana, Dominik Kubalik, and David Perron all netted their first goal of the season. In the third game they lost 5-4 but it was an exciting game, Adam Erne scored our first goal in the first period with a beautiful goal going top left over Johnathan Quick. The Kings then scored 2 goals early in the second, David Perron scored the game tying goal late in the second period to make the game 2-2. Going into the third period, David Perron scored another goal making the game 3-3. Dylan Larkin made a diving save to keep the game 4-3 because the Red Wings pulled their goalie and it was an empty net, then the Red Wings scoring another unanswered goal making the game 4-4. The third period ended and the Wings and Kings went into overtime the Kings got the last laugh and scored ten seconds into overtime by a redirected goal making the final score 5-4 L.A.
