With the end of the NHL season in sight, there typically aren’t a lot of changes happening on team rosters. However, with two games left in the Detroit Red Wings 2021-2022 season, there has been quite a bit of player turnover and changes happening in the locker room. The most notable changes are seen below.

INJURY:
– Robby Fabbri (C) out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
– Dylan Larkin (C) out for the rest of the season due to core muscle surgery.
– Filip Zadina (F) out for the rest of the season due to appendectomy.
– Givani Smith (RW) has been out for quite a while with an undisclosed injury and the team is unsure if he will finish this season.

SIGNED:
– Magnus Hellberg (G) signed to a one-year contract.
– Simon Edvinsson (D) signed to a three-year entry level contract beginning in the 2022-2023 season.
– Turner Elson (C) signed for the remainder of the 2021-2022 season.
