Dakota Cougars vs. Anchor Bay Tars in Varsity Volleyball Match
On Tuesday night, the Dakota varsity volleyball team once again versed Anchor Bay’s, hoping to get redemption after losing to them during a tournament. Both teams started the night out undefeated, but after the MAC Red showdown, only one team still held that title. The Dakota Cougars won all 3 sets, the scoreboard ending with 25-23 for the first two and 25-17 for the last.
“It was absolutely amazing,” said Tracie Ferguson, the varsity coach, when asked on what her thoughts were about how the match went. “They stuck to the game plan and they stuck together.” Ferguson also commended her senior libero Anastasia Savich for being the star of the match, having made a grand total of 27 digs.
The team has high hopes of continuing their winning streak.
