A College Student Found A Man In Her Closet Wearing Her Clothes
The student( Maddie ) told Fox 8 “I’ve been having like pieces of clothes missing. Like shirts and pants,”
Saturday Maddie heard “rattling” saying it sounded “like a raccoon in her closet”. The scared girl asked “whos there” and a voice responded with “oh my name is Drew”. She proceeded to open the closet door and there he was sitting in her closet wearing her clothes with a book bag full of her clothes too.
The man turned out to be 30-year-old Andrew Swofford.
The student called police and then “Maddie called her boyfriend. As she calmly waited for help, she talked to Swofford to keep him distracted.”
The one question everyone has is how did he get in there was no sign of a break in and the doors are constantly locked.
“Swofford was jailed in Guilford County under a $26,000 bond on 14 felony charges including larceny and identity theft.”
Maddie and her roommate are now planing on moving out of the Summit at the Edge Apartments.
