Forensic Science Guest Speaker

On Wednesday, December 13th, all Forensic Science classes had an amazing opportunity to welcome FBI agents from Detroit. Special Agent Mark Davidson shared some information about the cases that he has worked on in the last 22 years. Everyone that wants to continue to study forensics were sure convinced that working for the FBI is pretty hard, but really awesome. He was there to answer all of our questions.

Mark Bignall, an automotive supervisor, told us what happens from the moment they get the call to what happens when they arrive at the crime scene. He also shared stories from cases that he has worked on, and revealed that not everything is always as easy as it seems on CSI.

Last but not least, Brandie Witkowski, forensics accountant, shared with us the importance of keeping all of the evidence from a crime scene safe.

This was an amazing opportunity to hear first-hand information of how it actually is to work for the FBI. We got to see how useful all the knowledge from our class will be if we decide to do this in the future. It was a true honor to have our guests, and learn from them!
