Donate to the Drive!
Dakota’s Animal Welfare Worker’s are hosting a drive to benefit local animal shelters.
It is no secret that animal shelters are most often in need of supplies to care for their animals. To help them, the Animal Welfare Workers at Dakota are hosting a shelter drive. The drive will take place February 15th-17th after school from 2:11pm-2:45pm, at the back of the atrium by the brick wall. Everyone in the school is welcome to donate. The following items are being requested for donation:
-Dog/cat food (this is often the most heavily requested item from shelters)
-Wet food
-Leashes
-Collars
-Bowls
-Training pads
-Harnesses
-Peanut butter
-Toys
-Crates
-Paper towel
-Clorox wipes
-Dish soap
-Laundry detergent
All these items will be distributed to local animal shelters. Thank you so much for your support!
Your donation will support the student journalists of Dakota High School. Your contribution will allow us to purchase equipment and cover our annual website hosting costs.
