Year of the Rabbit
January 22nd this year marked the Lunar New Year. It is typically celebrated in China as well as other Asian countries. Lunar New Year begins with the first new moon of the lunar calendar and ends on the first full moon of the lunar calendar, 15 days later. The lunar calendar is based on the cycles of the moon, so the dates of the holiday vary slightly from year to year, beginning at some point between January 21st and February 20th according to Western calendars. It is a celebration of the arrival of spring and the beginning of a new year on the lunisolar calendar, rather than the Western calendar we use starting in January and ending in December. 2023 is the year of the rabbit. This is what is predicted for the year to come.
What Is the Chinese Zodiac? The Chinese zodiac is a traditional classification scheme based on the Chinese calendar that assigns an animal and its supposed attributes to each year in a repeating twelve-year cycle. Though it originates in China, the zodiac and its variation remain popular in many East Asian and Southeast Asian countries, such as Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Nepal, Bhutan, Cambodia, and Thailand.

We expect this year to be less dramatic or disorderly than last year, which was the Year of the Tiger. During the Year of the Rabbit, some may notice a positive influence or change in people who tend to be impulsive or unrealistic, as they become more level-headed. It is an excellent time to make important decisions and carefully think through your options to get the best chance of achieving your goals and realizing your plans. It is also predicted that success with love and careers, as well as financial advancements. According to Chinese astrology, the rabbit is considered one of luckiest signs.
