Update from Zachary Veal: “Moving Day Starts Today, Finally!!”
THIS MORNING: Mostly cloudy skies and a bit chilly too around Metro Detroit on this Thursday morning along with both temperatures rising from the middle-to-upper 30s early on into the low 40s later on and light, but warming, winds SW at 5-12 mph making it feel like it is only in the upper 20s to low 30s as you head both out and about. So, a jacket, hoodie, or sweatshirt most likely may be needed to stay both nice and warm as both your children stand outside at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive or while you either walk or bike to work.
TODAY: Mostly cloudy skies and mild too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures in the low 50s and light, but warming, winds SW at 5-12 mph. But thankfully, we will see more and more clearing taking place in our skies beginning during both the late, late afternoon and the early evening hours, so the skies should become partly cloudy by the start of the evening drive home from work!
TOMORROW: A transition from partly cloudy to mostly clear skies around Metro Detroit as we wake up first thing tomorrow morning on your “Finally Friday” one last time for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, along with morning low temperatures starting out in the middle-to-upper 30s in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but likely in the middle 30s outside of our Urban Heat Island or in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say! But the afternoon hours will be under mostly sunny skies along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the low 60s and warming breezes SSW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!
THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny skies and warm too around Metro Detroit on both your Saturday and on your Sunday along with daytime high temperatures soaring well into the low 70s. So, please enjoy!!
NEXT WEEK PREVIEW: We should stay in the low 70s on next Monday, but unfortunately, those 70s do not last for long as both scattered showers and cooler temperatures return back to Metro Detroit along with a cold front starting on next Wednesday, so please stay tuned…
Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, Metro Detroit!!
