Update from Zachary Veal: "There Is Some Light at the End of the Tunnel..."

THIS MORNING: Cloudy skies with a chance for some light rain showers around Metro Detroit on this “Hump Day” morning, or Wednesday morning, along with both temperatures rising from the upper 30s to flirting with 40F early on into the low 40s later on and a bit of a cool breeze too WNW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too making it feel like it is only in the low 30s as you head both out and about. So, a jacket, hoodie, or sweatshirt most likely may be needed to stay both nice and warm as both your children stand outside at their bus stops while they wait for their buses to arrive or while you either walk or bike to work.

TODAY: Mostly cloudy skies, cool, and breezy too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures only in the middle 40s and a stiff, cool breeze W at 8-18 mph, gusting 20-26 mph, at times too!

TOMORROW: A mostly cloudy and a very chilly start to your Thursday around Metro Detroit as we will both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures in the upper 30s in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but likely in the middle-to-upper 30s outside of our Urban Heat Island or in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say! But the afternoon hours will be under partly cloudy skies along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the low 50s for the very first time this week and warming winds SW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too!

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit as we wrap up both this work and this school week along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the middle-to-upper 60s and warming winds SSW at 5-15 mph, gusting 15-20 mph, at times too!

THIS WEEKEND: Mostly sunny skies and warm too around Metro Detroit on your Saturday along with daytime high temperatures soaring well into the low 70s. But on your Sunday, we will be under both partly cloudy skies and warm conditions too around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures staying in the low 70s, similar to Saturday, as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch.

NEXT WEEK PREVIEW: We do have a shot at 70F on both next Monday and on next Tuesday right here in Metro Detroit before both rain showers and much cooler temperatures return to Metro Detroit beginning on late next Tuesday night into next Wednesday. So, please stay tuned!

Enjoy the rest of your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, Metro Detroit!!
