Update from Zachary Veal: “Soak Up all That Vitamin D Before Debris Clouds from Ian Move Into Metro Detroit!”
THIS MORNING: Mostly sunny skies and cool too around Metro Detroit this Thursday morning along with both morning temperatures rising from the low 50s into the upper 50s and light winds NNE at only 5-10 mph.
TODAY: Mostly sunny skies and a bit warmer than yesterday too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures flirting with the middle 60s and light winds ENE at only 5-10 mph which means that both east-siders and our Thumb area will be slightly cooler as those winds will be blowing off of both Lakes Huron and St. Clair.
TOMORROW: Welcome to the final day of September 2022, Metro Detroit!! A mostly clear and cool start to your “Finally Friday” around Metro Detroit as we will wake up to morning low temperatures flirting with the middle 40s in our Metro Zone, or in our Urban Heat Island, but likely flirting with the upper 30s to right around 40F outside of our Urban Heat Island in our typically cooler rural areas as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say one last time as we wrap up both this work and this school week. But the afternoon hours should be under mostly sunny skies once again around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the upper 60s and light winds ENE once again at only 5-10 mph which once again, means that both east-siders and our Thumb area will be slightly cooler as those winds will be blowing off of both Lakes Huron and St. Clair.
THIS WEEKEND: Welcome to the first two days of October 2022, Metro Detroit!! Partly sunny or mostly cloudy skies on your Saturday around Metro Detroit due to some debris clouds from ex-Hurricane Ian that hit Florida really bad over the last 24+ hours spreading our way, clipping our extreme east-siders into Southern Ontario, Canada. And also, daytime high temperatures on your Saturday have a chance to hit 70F if we can break up some of those debris clouds and bust into a little sunshine. But if that doesn’t hold true, then highs Saturday should remain in the upper 60s. And finally, Sunday should be under partly cloudy skies along with both daytime high temperatures dropping down into the middle 60s and breezy conditions too NNE at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too as both you and your family travel both to and from both morning church services and brunch!
NEXT WEEK PREVIEW: Unfortunately, as of right now, there aren’t a whole lot of great chances for any rain around Metro Detroit pretty much all of next week, and we could definitely use some as both our plants and our flowers could use a good, free watering from Mother Nature above. So, please stay tuned…
Enjoy the rest of your Thursday, Metro Detroit!!
