Update from Zachary Veal: “Please Be Patient As a Warm-Up is Coming!”
THIS MORNING: Partly cloudy skies and cool too around Metro Detroit this “Hump Day” morning, or Wednesday morning, as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to both morning temperatures rising from the middle-to-upper 40s early into the low 50s to flirting with the middle 50s later on and lighter winds NNW at 5-12 mph. So, a jacket or a sweatshirt might be a good idea to have on as both your kids stand outside at their bus stops while waiting for their buses to come or while you take a walk with your dogs this morning!
TODAY: Partly cloudy skies and cool too around Metro Detroit along with both a daytime high temperature of only 60F and lighter winds N at only 5-12 mph.
TOMORROW: A mostly clear and cool start to your Thursday around Metro Detroit as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures only in the low 40s in our Metro Zone, or our Urban Heat Island, but likely flirting with the 30s outside of our Urban Heat Island in our typically cooler rural areas, as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say, so seeing patchy frost in those areas wouldn’t surprise me at all! But the afternoon hours should warm up under mostly sunny skies along with both daytime high temperatures rising into the low 60s and light winds NE at only 5-10 mph.
FRIDAY: Welcome to the final day of September 2022, Metro Detroit!! Mostly sunny skies around Metro Detroit once again too as we all wrap up both this work and this school week along with daytime high temperatures rising into the upper 60s.
THIS WEEKEND: Welcome to the first two days of October 2022, Metro Detroit!! Partly cloudy skies both weekend days around Metro Detroit along with a daytime high temperature of 70F both on your Saturday and on your Sunday too!
Enjoy the rest of your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, Metro Detroit!!
