Update from Zachary Veal: “Tracking Both Monday Rain & Cool Temps!”
THIS MORNING: Mostly cloudy skies with possibly some light rain showers, mainly after 10am, around Metro Detroit on this Monday morning as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to both morning temperatures rising from the low 50s early into the upper 50s later on and winds picking up gradually W at 10-15 mph.
TODAY: Increasing clouds around Metro Detroit with both some light showers and isolated storms possible later on this afternoon along with both daytime high temperatures only around 61F and winds whipping W at 8-18 mph, gusting 20-30 mph, at times too! So, don’t forget to hold onto your hats!
TOMORROW: A mostly cloudy and cool start to your Tuesday around Metro Detroit as we both get up and get going to morning low temperatures in the upper 40s in our Metro Zone, or our Urban Heat Island, but likely in the middle 40s outside of our Urban Heat Island as WDIV’s meteorologist Paul Gross likes to say. But the afternoon hours should be under mostly cloudy skies with a chance for some scattered showers too along with both daytime high temperatures only in the upper 50s and cool breezes WNW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too which will make the air feel a bit colder than the upper 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy skies around Metro Detroit on your “Hump Day” along with daytime high temperatures flirting with 60F.
THURSDAY: Mostly sunny skies around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures a degree or two both north and south of 60F.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies once again to wrap up both this work and this school week around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures rising into the middle 60s.
THIS WEEKEND: Welcome to the first two days of October 2022, Metro Detroit!! Partly cloudy skies both weekend days around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures rising into the upper 60s on your Saturday and then, a daytime high temperature of 70F on your Sunday!
Enjoy the rest of your Monday, Metro Detroit, and have a wonderful week ahead too!!
