Update from Zachary Veal: “Tracking a Wicked Weather Wednesday ahead of a Cool Start to Fall 2022!”
THIS MORNING: A transition from partly to mostly sunny skies this Tuesday morning around Metro Detroit as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to both morning temperatures rising from the upper 60s into the low 70s and light winds W at only around 5 mph.
TODAY: Partly cloudy skies and warm too around Metro Detroit along with both a daytime high temperature of only 80F and light, but warming, winds SSW at only 5-10 mph.
TOMORROW: A partly cloudy and mild start to your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, around Metro Detroit with perhaps a chance for a few isolated storms too as we both get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids, to morning low temperatures in the mild upper 60s. But the afternoon hours should heat up under a transition from partly to mostly cloudy skies along with both daytime high temperatures soaring into the middle-to-upper 80s but feeling a bit warmer than that due to the humidity increasing and breezy conditions too W at 5-15 mph, gusting 15-20 mph, at times too! And finally, all of Southeastern Michigan is under a Marginal Risk (which is Level 1 out of 5 on the SPC’s scale) for potentially strong-to-severe storms that will be capable of producing damaging winds which is the greatest threat! And the best timeline window for these storms looks to be from between 12 Noon and 5pm. So, all eyes will be to the skies both tomorrow afternoon and evening indeed!
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy skies, much cooler, and breezy too around Metro Detroit along with both daytime high temperatures dipping down into the middle 60s and breezy conditions NW at 10-15 mph, gusting 20-25 mph, at times too! Oh, and by the way, Fall 2022 or the 2022 Autumnal Equinox begins at 9:04 p.m. ET.
FRIDAY: Mostly sunny skies and cooler too around Metro Detroit as we wrap up both this work and this school week along with daytime high temperatures only in the middle 60s once again.
THIS WEEKEND: Partly cloudy skies with a chance for some light rain showers on your Saturday along with a daytime high temperature of only 70F. But on your Sunday, we will be under partly cloudy skies with a chance for both some scattered showers and isolated storms around Metro Detroit along with daytime high temperatures rising into the middle 70s. So, both umbrellas and rain ponchos will most likely be needed to stay both nice and dry as both you and your family commute both to and from both morning church services and brunch!
Enjoy the rest of your Tuesday, Metro Detroit!!
