As you probably already are aware Dakota Cougars, all of the seniors depart from all of their 4 long years of high school after 2nd hour is over on this Friday the 27th as they will head out to the football stadium to have the BBQ party. So, seniors, I want to quickly take this time to wish you the best of luck as you move from high school to either college, the work force, or whatever post-secondary plans that God has planned for you! We will truly miss you right here at the beloved Dakota High School at 21051 21 Mile Road in Macomb Township, Michigan. I know that COVID-19 has changed a lot of how we did things over the last 2 years at school, but you all fought very, very, very hard through it all, thick and then, and woo, look at this: you made it all the way to this point and now, you can take a deep breath, and let it out as you deserve it. You made it Class of 2022, bottom line!!! May God bless both you and your families as you make your next journey away from Dakota, and we look forward to seeing you real, real soon. Otherwise, Class of 2023 (which includes me), here we come, as we will be graduating high school too next school year. Man, I can’t believe how time flies!!
