Fear and Loathing in Tampa
3 dead–10 days–no clues. Possible Serial killer?
October 19, 2017– Tampa, Florida– a man was murdered that day, the third victim in less than 11 days, shot dead in a neighborhood that was not his, after getting off a bus at the wrong stop, his name was Anthony Naiboa and on October 19 of this year, he was shot dead in the quiet neighborhood of Seminole Heights. Alone and without help– her name was Monica Hoffa, his name was Benjamin Mitchell. As it stands, authorities of the Seminole Heights District are still hesitant to deem theses shootings an act of one man, one killer, yet aren’t ready to rule out this possibility with all slayings being done by gun, all near bus stops, and within a one mile radius of each other. To these murders, the Mayor of Tampa, Bob Buckhorn, had this to say about the police’s search for the Seminole Heights Killer in an interview with CNN: “They won’t let evil win–they’re going to take back there streets.”
With a possible serial killer on the loose and with a blurry image of a hooded figure wandering the streets mere minutes before Naiboa would meet his end (taken via street cameras) as investigator’s only clue, we can only place our trust and faith in the boys in blue to end this horror show. Less this manic slowly makes his way towards his next victim in the blissful, chilly night.
Our hearts go out to the families of the lost, and may justice shine heaven’s light upon this killer of the night…
