Welcome to Monday Night Metro Detroit!
Sunset tonight was at 8:10 p.m. ET.
TONIGHT: Scattered showers this evening as shown on “ZV LIVE RADAR” that are moving from west-southwest to east-northeast along a cold front that is currently pushing itself through Metro Detroit. But they should all end after 8pm as the skies clear out late along with overnight low temperatures only in the upper 30s and light winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunrise tomorrow is at 6:57 a.m. ET.
TOMORROW: A mostly clear and chilly start to your Tuesday around Metro Detroit along with temperatures starting in the upper 30s to low 40s and very light winds WNW at 2 to 5 mph as we get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids. But then, we should be under mostly sunny skies for the entire morning into the early afternoon hours before the skies become partly cloudy for the late afternoon hours along with both high temperatures only in the low 60s and light winds SE at 5 to 12 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Periods of both rain and some thunderstorms, but not an all-day washout by any means! Some isolated thundershowers in the morning with a brief break from all of the action during the late morning and early afternoon hours. But some strong to potentially severe thunderstorms come into play for the afternoon hours, mainly after 3pm along with both high temperatures soaring into the low 70s and winds cranking SSW at 10 to 25 mph. And there is a Marginal Risk for strong to severe storms for the afternoon hours, again beginning after 3pm, so all eyes to the skies indeed!
THURSDAY: Cooling down after some morning showers and storms along with both a high temperature of only 60F and gusty winds WSW at 15 to 30 mph, gusting over 40 mph, at times! So, remember to hold onto your steering wheels, especially for high-profile vehicles such as: RVs, SUVs, buses, trucks, and semis so you will not be swerving on those roads. And watch out for any debris blowing. And finally, make sure to charge all of your mobile devices in case your power goes out, as sporadic power outages are possible!
FRIDAY/GOOD FRIDAY 2022: Scattered showers, cooling, and windy again along with both high temperatures only in the upper 50s and gusty winds SW at 15 to 30 mph, gusting over 40 mph, at times too!
THIS WEEKEND: Mostly cloudy skies both weekend days, including Easter Sunday 2022 of course, along with high temperatures only in the low to middle 50s both days too. So, a bit of a cool weekend ahead indeed!
Have a wonderful night and a wonderful week ahead Metro Detroit!!
