“Rainy, Breezy, & Cool for Tigers’ Opening Day Tomorrow!!”
Welcome to Thursday Night Metro Detroit!
Sunset tonight was at 8:06 p.m. ET.
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies late around Metro Detroit along with both overnight low temperatures only in the upper 30s and light winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunrise tomorrow is at 7:04 a.m. ET.
TOMORROW: A mostly cloudy and chilly start to your “Finally Friday” around Metro Detroit along with temperatures starting in the upper 30s and light winds SW at 4 to 9 mph as we get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids. But a weather maker will bring some sprinkles starting after 8am, so we may be able to salvage the morning commute tomorrow. But for tailgaters heading to Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers’ Home Opener against the Chicago White Sox may need to bring both their umbrellas and their rain ponchos to stay nice and dry. And the rain continues through the entire game and the majority of both the late, late morning and through the afternoon hours as scattered showers take over Metro Detroit along with high temperatures only in the upper 40s and breezy conditions SW at 7 to 17 mph, gusting 20 to 25 mph at times too!
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy skies along with high temperatures only in the middle 40s.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies along with high temperatures rising into the low 50s. So, fantastic weather for driving to both morning church services and to brunch indeed!!
NEXT WEEK: But we are watching for a huge warmup coming that will bring high temperatures well into the 60s to maybe 70F by both Wednesday and Thursday! But that also comes with multiple chances for some rain and maybe even some scattered thunderstorms by midweek next week, so stay tuned!
Have an awesome night Metro Detroit!!
