Metro Detroit, Michigan weather: “More Wet Weather is coming…” Overnight lows will be flirting with 40 degrees.

DETROIT- Welcome to Wednesday Night Metro Detroit! And happy “Hump Day” to everyone too!!

Tonight’s sunset was at 8:05 p.m. ET.

“Rain, rain, go away. Come again another day!!” But unfortunately, the rain will both not leave and come another day because we’ve got more wet weather on the way for the rest of this week after today’s (April 6th) rain. But first, let us focus on the here and now, shall we?

Alright! So overnight tonight, we will have rain this evening around Metro Detroit ending after 6pm before the skies become partly cloudy late along with overnight low temperatures flirting with 40 degrees and light winds southwest at 5 to 10 mph.

Tomorrow morning’s sunrise is at 7:06 a.m. ET.

THE REST OF THIS WEEK:

Your Thursday morning will feature a partly cloudy start around Metro Detroit along with both temperatures starting in the upper 30s to around 40 degrees and light winds southwest at 5 to 10 mph as we get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids. But clouds will be on the increase beginning in the late, late morning hours as a weather maker brings some scattered showers starting after 12pm and lasting through the afternoon hours along with both daytime high temperatures making it into the low 50s and breezy conditions southwest at 7 to 17 mph, gusting 20 to 25 mph at times too!

Mostly cloudy skies and cold too Thursday night along with overnight low temperatures only in the upper 30s.

Happy “Finally Friday” everyone!! The Detroit Tigers’ Home Opener at Comerica Park against the Chicago White Sox (side note: First Pitch will be at 1:10 p.m. ET.) will be a soggy, chilly, and breezy one as scattered showers take over the game along with daytime high temperatures only in the upper 40s. So, do not forget to pack your rain ponchos and your umbrellas if both you and your family are heading to the Tigers’ game. But as always, things can change as we are still 2 days away from the Home Opener, so stay tuned!!
