Metro Detroit, Michigan weather: “Wet & Windy Weather Wednesday!!” Overnight lows will be in the low 40s.
DETROIT- Welcome to Tuesday Night Metro Detroit!
Tonight’s sunset was at 8:03 p.m. ET.
I sure hope that you got outdoors today on this Tuesday (April 5th) around Metro Detroit to enjoy the partly cloudy skies along with both today’s daytime high temperatures in the middle 50s and light winds from out of the east-southeast at 5 to 12 mph because more wet weather is on the way starting late tonight and lasting through the end of this week. But first, let us focus on the here and now, shall we?
Alright! So overnight tonight, we will have increasing clouds with scattered showers arriving after 1am around Metro Detroit along with both overnight low temperatures only in the low 40s and light winds east at 5 to 10 mph.
Tomorrow morning’s sunrise is at 7:07 a.m. ET.
THE REST OF THIS WEEK:
Your “Hump Day” morning, or Wednesday morning, will feature a mostly dry start around Metro Detroit along with both temperatures starting in the low to middle 40s and light winds southeast at 5 to 10 mph as we get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids. But scattered showers do move into Metro Detroit starting after 10am mainly late morning and evolving into a more steadier rain after lunch time along with both daytime high temperatures halting into the upper 50s (if not for both the clouds and the rain, we might make it to 60 degrees or even warmer than that) and winds picking up southeast shifting to the southwest at 7 to 15 mph, gusting 20 to 25 mph at times too!
Mostly cloudy skies Wednesday night along with an overnight low temperature of only 40 degrees.
Your Thursday will feature a partly cloudy or partly sunny start with morning temperatures starting around 40 degrees. But clouds will be on the increase making it harder for daytime high temperatures to touch 60 degrees. So, we might only make it into the upper 50s once again unfortunately as scattered showers move into Metro Detroit starting after 3-4pm.
Mostly cloudy skies and chilly too Thursday night along with overnight low temperatures only in the upper 30s.
Happy “Finally Friday”!! The Detroit Tigers’ Home Opener at Comerica Park against the Chicago White Sox (side note: First Pitch will be at 1:10 p.m. ET.) will be a soggy, chilly, and breezy one as scattered showers take over the game along with daytime high temperatures only in the upper 40s. So, do not forget to pack your rain ponchos and your umbrellas if both you and your family are heading to the Tigers’ game. But as always, things can change as we are still 3 days away from the Home Opener, so stay tuned!!
Mostly cloudy skies and cold too Friday night along with overnight low temperatures flirting with the middle 30s. So, remember to bundle up both yourself and your sweetie as you both head out for whatever date night plans that you may have planned.
YOUR UPCOMING WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST:
Your Saturday will have a possible wintry mix, mainly early in the morning, along with daytime high temperatures only in the middle 40s.
Mostly clear skies and cold too Saturday night along with overnight low temperatures flirting with the freezing mark.
Your Sunday Funday will feature mostly sunny skies along with daytime high temperatures in the middle 50s. So, fantastic weather for heading to both morning church services and to brunch indeed!
Mostly clear skies and not as cold as Saturday night Sunday night along with overnight low temperatures only in the low 40s.
