“Wet & Windy Weather Wednesday!!”
Welcome to Tuesday Night Metro Detroit!
Sunset tonight was at 8:03 p.m. ET.
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds with scattered showers arriving after 1am around Metro Detroit along with both overnight low temperatures only in the low 40s and light winds E at 5 to 10 mph.
Sunrise tomorrow is at 7:07 a.m. ET.
TOMORROW: A mostly dry start to your “Hump Day”, or Wednesday, around Metro Detroit along with both temperatures starting in the low to middle 40s and light winds SE at 5 to 10 mph as we get up and get going for either work, for the parents, or for school, for the kids. But scattered showers do move into Metro Detroit starting after 10am mainly late morning and evolving into a more steadier rain after lunch time along with both high temperatures halting into the upper 50s (if not for both the clouds and the rain, we might make it to 60F or even warmer than that) and winds picking up SE/SW at 7 to 15 mph, gusting 20 to 25 mph at times too!
THURSDAY: A partly cloudy or partly sunny start with morning temperatures starting around 40F. But clouds will be on the increase making it harder for high temperatures to touch 60F. So, we might only make it into the upper 50s once again unfortunately as scattered showers move into Metro Detroit starting after 3-4pm.
FRIDAY: The Detroit Tigers’ Home Opener at Comerica Park against the Chicago White Sox will be a soggy, chilly, and breezy one as scattered showers take over the game along with high temperatures only in the upper 40s. So, do not forget to pack your rain ponchos and your umbrellas if both you and your family are heading to the Tigers’ game. But as always, things can change as we are still 3 days away from the Home Opener, so stay tuned!!
THIS WEEKEND: A wintry mix is possible early Saturday morning along with afternoon high temperatures only in the middle 40s. But fortunately, Sunday looks fantastic under mostly sunny skies along with high temperatures in the middle 50s. So, great weather for heading to both morning church services and to brunch indeed!
Have a great night Metro Detroit!!
