May 25th marks the one year anniversary of George Floyd’s death. As most of us know, Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin, a police officer, who is finally  in jail after months of court. Last year, people were outraged and fed up, causing the protests and riots. This year, the people planned to have a moment of silence for nine minutes in honor. There are different opinions on how this is going to go. Many say that it won’t end well, but others think that it will be a nice, easy, simple gesture.
