Happy Black History month at Dakota! This year for Black history month, Dakota put up many signs in the hallways and lunch room of significant black figures. As seen in the photo, a poster of Chadwick Boseman is held up in the hallway to display his achievements. There was many banners as well and a Black History section in the library. With help from Diversity club, which you can still join, Black History was represented very well this month. Dakota is such a diverse school and it is really good that the school keeps up with Black history and represent their students well. Even though Black history month is coming to an end soon, as a community don’t forget to continue to respect other peoples races and keep spreading love. Happy Black History month.
