End of the School Year Do’s and Don’ts
As the school year ticks down and the end begins approaching, everyone becomes excited. With excited students comes nonsense and craziness everywhere. But what should and shouldn’t you do towards the end of the year?
End of the school year Do’s:
- Do have fun- take advantage of the rest of your days in high school.
- Do keep organized- with finals approaching you should keep all necessary materials near to make studying easier.
- Do focus- This may be the hardest one for some people. Grades still matter, so make sure you buckle down and keep trying for your greatest grades.
End of the school year Don’ts:
- Don’t go crazy- just because you may have a lot of energy doesn’t mean you need to go wild and use it all doing stupid things. School is still school and you will get suspended for doing something dumb.
- Don’t forget to make memories- high school goes by quick so make everyday worth it!
- Don’t blow off your work- If you’re a senior you may believe you have “senioritis,” try your best to push it off as much as you can and enjoy the last of the days you have here.
After talking to a few students, we gathered some tips for the end of the school year: Cameron Grant, a junior says, “Don’t procrastinate because deadlines come up sooner than you’d expect.” Kaitlyn Glefke, a senior says, “Make sure you pay attention and stay focused.” So with this being said, have fun with the end of the school year but remember that every day still matters.
