Season 23 of the television series, The Bachelor, came to a very abrupt ending last week.  Colton, a 26-year-old former professional football player, ends his season not so traditionally. With no final rose and no end proposal, Colton  still managed to pick a “winner.” Having three overnight dates, Colton only was able to get through two without confessing his love for Cassie. Which left Hannah G high and dry, causing some controversy amongst the nation. Cassie, still not explaining to Colton her feelings, gets a rude awakening from her father. He explains how he knows she is not ready for marriage and convinces her to think so too. Cassie then “leaves the show” and Colton hops the famous white fence due to his emotions and thoughts. He then follows Cassie and they agree on dating outside of the show to see how things go. The couple appear to be happy and thriving together, but will it last? There are many critics to this season, which come with a lot of discussions. Many people believe he should have picked Hannah G because Cassie never had actual feelings for Colton or any desire for marriage. Others think Cassie and Colton were meant to be. What do you believe? In addition to this rocky controversial ending, they also named the next Bachelorette. They announced Hannah B,  a contestant from earlier in Colton’s season, as the season 15 Bachelorette. This announcement also spiked a lot of discussion. Do you think this was the right choice?
