Mount Clemens Ice Carving

After the holidays past, outdoor events become less and less common. Without the lights off Christmas trees, it is like people try to hide from the outdoors. It is hard to find things to do outside while enjoying the snow and being able to wear cute mittens once the holidays past, especially in our area. January is a busy month for a lot of people, but with the month soon coming to a close and it is time to jump back into the outdoors!

Mount Clemens is once again hosting an ice carving show! The dates are Friday, February 10th, 2023 (noon to six pm) and the following Saturday (noon to four pm) and then that Sunday (noon to three pm). If ice carving is something you have never seen before, this could be a cool opportunity to experience something that is not common. It can be a fun thing to do with your friends and family, but it is also a way to get outside and appreciate the weather.

Bundle up in your coat and favorite mittens and make your way to downtown Mount Clemens to experience works of art made from ice! And there is not just that- there are plenty of restaurants and even an ice rink in downtown Mount Clemens. It could take up a fun weekend for you!

Personally, I have been to this event in the past and can vouch that the ice-art is super cool and not something that you want to miss out on.
