What We Know About Disney’s Live Action Little Mermaid
Disney has announced the Live-Action remake of The Little Mermaid. Disney has been known for their Live-Action adaptations of their cult classics, and they are for sure going to remake a blockbuster with this one.
Setting the bar high from other Disney Princess remakes such as Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, and Mulan its no doubt it will blow us out of the water.
With its, all stared cast with Jacob Trembley as Flounder, Awkwafina as Scuttle, Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Javier Bardem as King Tritan, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Melissa McCarthy as Ursala, and R&B sensation Halle Bailey as Ariel, we can expect nothing but a musical masterpiece.
Filming wrapped on July 11, 2021, as Bailey gave us a sneak peek of her new look in an Instagram post. Being only 18 turning 19 after auditioning for the film and turning 21 while filming through the pandemic its been a journey for all.
As the film is set to release on May 26, 2023, we are all eager to see what lies under the sea.
