Mrs. Davis is a very sweet teacher and agreed to let us ask her a few questions for this interview.

1.) Question: What do you teach here at Dakota?

Answer: I teach Algebra 2.

2.) Question: How/ when did you decide to become a teacher?

Answer: I decided to teach while I was in college to be an engineer.

While I was there, I realized that I didn’t want to be an engineer and that I wanted to be a teacher. Luckily I already had a degree in math because of the engineering, so that made it easier.

3.) Question: What high school and college(s) did you go to?

Answer: I attended high school at The Lady Star Of The Sea and went to Wayne State and Saginaw Valley. I went to Wayne State for engineering, discovered I wanted to be a teacher and went to Saginaw.

4.) Question: Do you have any kids of your own?

Answer: Yes, I have 3 girls.

5.)Did you play any sports in high school?

Answer: Yes, I played basketball in high school.

6.) Question: What do you think of Dakota?

Answer: I think Dakota is easily one of the best schools in Michigan and that the students here are smart and very hardworking. The staff here are wonderful as well and they all just make Dakota a great place to be.

7.) Question: What is your favorite color?

Answer: Yellow! 🙂

8.) Question: Do you prefer Michigan or Michigan State?

Answer: Michigan State!
