Seniors During Covid!
During the times like these, seniors have it very hard. To not being able to have prom, to maybe not even being able to walk across the stage for graduation. Our Dakota staff has been working very hard to be able to provide all these things for our 2021 graduates. Some of our seniors have had a few words too say as they were interviewed. One said “It is very hard because going for school for 3 years in person, to now being in school for 2 days a week, is very hard and stressful on us.” It makes us think all of the things that these students have gone through, to not even be able to have their last and final year with their classmates, and close friends. Bonding times are even harder now due to not being in school every day, and being able to show our expressions with these strict precautions. Our 2021 seniors have had it hard and as another one said, “I feel as if I have no motivation when I am at home online.” It truly is one of the hardest things these students have to go through. Our staff is working full time to give these seniors the best year that they can have, even during Covid.
