THE BEST chocolate chip cookies
Holiday Cookie Recipe
I’m a person who loves to bake. The holiday season is the best time to do it for sure! Not to toot my own horn, but Toot Toot!! I make GREAT chocolate chip cookies. These “thicc boys” as they have been named are huge and amazing for any occasion!
Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 sticks of butter
2 large eggs
2 tbsp vanilla extract
As many chocolate chips as you want, measure that with yo heart!
Steps
- Preheat oven to 375°
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt
- Mix together butter, sugars, and vanilla extract until it looks like small itty bitty rocks(Hint: make sure butter is softened or try to break it up with a fork)
- Beat in eggs one at a time
- Add in dry mix slowly in 3 parts
- Mix together and knead dough
- Mix in chocolate chips
- Begin placing dough in balls (I do a medium bouncy ball size) on cookie pan with parchment paper
- Bake for 10-12 minutes (Hint: check it with a fork to see if they’re done, no dough you’re good to go!)
- Let sit for 10 min
- ENJOY
These cookies taste great warm with ice cream, whip cream, or milk! If you like this recipe and try it, comment and let me know! Happy holidays!
