The Ultimate Coffee Master List

If you’re a coffee addict like me then you’ve probably been searching for the best coffee in town, well search no longer! During quarantine I tried almost every coffee shop in town to find the best. I have ranked my favorite places and which drinks I like best.
Dunkin’: my favorite drink is their caramel macchiato, its sweet but still very rich. Bonus points for having an app where you can rack up points for free drinks! Overall, I rate this drink a 9/10!

Sweetwaters: The French Vietnamese Au Lait honestly almost killed me, it’s incredibly strong but not too bitter. The café is adorable and has a great atmosphere, and all around 10/10.

Tim Hortons: I’m not a huge fan of Tim Hortons, their caramel lattes are the perfect fall drink but waiting in line for twenty minutes just for them to not get your order right definitely brings down their points. 7/10 for the coffee but 5/10 for service.

Starbucks: Some people are about to be really mad at me, but I do not like Starbucks. You might as well just order water because that’s what you’re getting, not strong enough for me by 1000 miles, 6/10.

Atomic coffee: Unfortunately, the closest Atomic is all the way in Royal Oak, but if you’re up for a drive it’s absolutely worth it. They have amazing cold brew and macchiato, as well as the cutest aesthetic! A solid 8/10 in my book.

Tou & Mai: This is the best coffee I have ever had in my entire 16 years of living; it is an absolute tragedy that it’s all the way in Detroit, but I frequently go out of my way to go there. It is the cutest bubble tea shop but I always get a super basic iced coffee. It has a slightly floral smell but has hints of chocolate, as well as a thicker consistency which is something I never knew I needed until I tried it. The shop itself is adorable and sells all kinds of cute trinkets, and once you get your coffee you can walk over to the dog park across the street. Tou & Mai is a resounding 11/10.
