Interview With L’Anse Creuse High School North Student, Cia Hunter
Questions asked:
1.How was your first day of school at Lcn? What was different from last year?
- Were the desks six feet apart?
- Were the hallways packed during passing time or did they dismiss students at different times to avoid crowded hallways?
- Were the students required to wear masks at all times? If not when were they able to take them off?
- Were lunch tables set up to where the students were still social distancing?
- Now that you have been to school, would you rather be doing online school?
Cia’s answers:
Cia said her first day of school at Lcn was “okay”. She explained how school this year was very different and there were many changes that will take some getting used to such as students are only allowed to walk one way down certain hallways, and some classes you had to go outside to get to. She then said students’ desks were not six feet apart, but there were less students in the classrooms than last year. Cia said the hallways were “FULL” and very crowded and it felt as if someone was always touching her shoulders while walking through the crowded hallways. The students were required to wear a mask at all times. Cia described her lunch experience as “ not so bad” because there were only three students allowed a one table at a time which she liked. Lastly, Cia says she would rather be doing school online and if she could, she would do online school in a heartbeat.
