Recently, I was gifted a book titled “Masterpieces of Art” by Lucia Gasparini and Serena Marabelli, which is a collection of all kinds of art using different mediums dating back to 1330 BC. I was mesmerized by all the different styles and compositions of each piece. One painting, however, stood out to me the most; “The Kiss” by Gustav Klimt. The oil on canvas was created some time between 1907 and 1908; this was considered Klimt’s “Golden Period” in which he decorated his work in gold leaf. I was inspired by this art and had to put my own skills to the test
