Disney+ Our Childhood is Back.

Disney+ is what everyone has been waiting for, especially all the 2000’s babies.  Disney has been hinting at this new “On-Demand/ Netflix” type streaming network for quite some time now.  Some old Disney stars have even posted about the news on their social media accounts.  David Henrie posted a picture of him standing next to the Disney+ logo with the caption ‘Let’s do this’, hopefully hinting toward a return of Wizards of Waverly Place.   Disney+ will be formatted similar to Netflix’s, only this costs $6.99 a month!  The content featured will be ‘family friendly’, says SunTrust analyst and Director Matthew Thornton.  The service will be streaming a whole lot of Disney’s original shows and movies; and, since Disney has expanded their partnership, + will also have films presented by Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel!  Apple had just recently released Apple TV+, which leads us to assume that they are not too happy with Disney’s new release.  And as for Netflix, they are about to reach some serious competition as well.  It’s going to be very difficult to get people to stop streaming on Netflix, but Disney might just have what it takes.  Considering all my generation has been talking about it how badly we want to see our childhood shows again, I wouldn’t be too surprised to start seeing more and more people subscribing to the network.  Disney+ will release their network November 12, 2019, save the date.
