Late October, several mail Bombs were sent to leading democrats and critics of President Doland Trump. These mail bombs went to George Soros, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Former President Brack Obama, Representative Maxine Waters of California, Senator Kamala Harris of California, and former Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr, and others. 

The FBI during their investigation had discovered over 12 devices after the first bomb was found. But none of the bombs had exploded. The bombs were found to be poorly made, and all seemed to have been delivered through the us postal system. On the posting of the mailed bombs were found some figure prints and misspelled words, such as the names of the victims and their addresses. 

Cesar Sayoc a 56-year-old man was arrested in connection to the homemade mail bombs. He was found near an auto supply store at his van which was decorated with Trump rhetoric. He was formally charged with sending 13 devices, as well as five crimes that could send him to prison for decades: transporting explosives across state lines, illegally mailing explosives, threatening former presidents and others, threatening interstate communications and assaulting federal officials.  

On Tuesday he was ordered to be held without bail. His trial will be held on Monday, and he will face up to 48 years in prison if convicted.
