The newest call of duty game that came out is Call of Duty Black Ops 4. The game was released a month earlier than usual and came out October 12. Treyarch made a couple of changes this year, this is the first year in call of duty history where the game does not have a campaign. This year Treyarch replaced the campaign with a new mode called blackout. Blackout is a battle royale, which means there is only one winner at the end of the game. Blacks ops 4 became the best-selling-day-one full game on the PlayStation store globally. There are also some cons with the game coming out a month early.  in the multiplayer game mode there were some bugs that needed to be fixed, for example, the spawns were all messed up sometimes you would spawn on top of enemies. But when criticized by critics they gave call of duty pretty good scores. Ign rated it an 8.5/10 and digital trends rated it an 8/10. So, for how early the game came out Treyarch is getting some pretty good scores.
