Recently, this story has taken social media by storm. Drake has had recent rumors about him that state that he got model, Layla Lace, pregnant and sexually assaulted her. Drake claims these allegations are false. Their relationship began when Drake was on the Rolling Loud tour in 2017 and he met Layla there. They did in fact sleep together, which was confirmed by Drake, but she gave consent. The morning after, Drake went on his way and Layla became distraught by the fact that she could not go on tour with him. She became obsessed and even created a “fantasy relationship” with him after their encounter. She says that she attempted to get in contact with him, but he would not answer. In April of 2017, she took to Instagram to air out what happened by stating in a post, “So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude your pregnant, they stop answering the phone!” She continued to let this go on for months. Lace spoke at SirusXM station and stated, “It’s one hundred percent for sure Drake’s child.” He is now filing a lawsuit against her in the Los Angeles Superior Court for releasing false claims, fraud, and civil extortion.
