For those of you who don’t know relay for life is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society run my dozens of wonderful volunteers. The event is made to raise awareness, honor survivors, and ones we lost to cancer.

Chippewa Valley High School has been hosting this event for as long as any of us can remember. The morning of volunteers eagerly set their stands up, waiting for survivors, performers, and excited visitors to come. Stands including face painting, food, shirts, games, and more! Despite the rain they had a good turn out of people even having some of our own Dakota students there from leadership and key club!
